Budgeting

Budgeting is the process of planning how your business will allocate its money — including expected income, expenses, savings, and investments.
In Filipino MSME terms: ito yung “pagpaplano ng galaw ng pera” para hindi ka maubusan at para masigurong may kita ang negosyo.

A good budget helps you control spending, prepare for slow months, and make smarter financial decisions.

Why Budgeting Matters

For Filipino MSMEs, budgeting is essential because it helps you:

  • Track cash flow — alam mo kung saan napupunta ang pera
  • Avoid overspending — especially on inventory or supplies
  • Prepare for emergencies — may pondo kahit mahina ang benta
  • Set financial goals — like expansion, equipment upgrades, or savings
  • Improve profitability — by controlling costs and maximizing income

Many small businesses fail not because of low sales, but because they don’t manage their money properly. Budgeting gives you control and direction.
