Brand Equity

Brand Equity refers to the value of your brand based on how customers perceive it — including trust, reputation, recognition, and loyalty.
In Filipino MSME terms: ito yung “bigat ng pangalan” ng negosyo mo. The stronger your brand equity, the more customers choose you even if your price is higher.

Brand equity is built over time through consistent quality, good customer experience, and strong branding.

Why Brand Equity Matters

For Filipino MSMEs, strong brand equity leads to:

  • Higher customer loyalty — people keep coming back
  • Premium pricing — customers are willing to pay more
  • Better reputation — especially important for food, retail, and services
  • Lower marketing costs — word-of-mouth becomes stronger
  • Competitive advantage — you stand out even in crowded markets

Many small businesses focus only on daily sales, but long-term success depends on building a brand people trust.
